Draft — requires legal review
Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to a website everyone can use, and how to tell us when it falls short.
Draft — requires legal review
This policy is a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified legal professional and may change. Publishing it does not mean the foundation is compliant with any law. Hindi translations of policies will follow after legal review.
Our aim
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We design for small phones, slow connections, screen readers and keyboard users.
What we have done
- Semantic structure, headings and landmarks
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA
- Visible focus indicators and full keyboard access
- Respect for reduced-motion settings
- Forms with clear labels and error messages
- Content in English and Hindi for the main pages
Known limitations
- Policy pages and articles are currently in English only.
- Automated testing has been carried out; testing with people who use assistive technology is still planned.
