Support the foundation
Thank you for thinking of giving. Here is exactly where things stand.
Donations are not currently being accepted online
The foundation will only accept donations once its legal registration, bank account, payment-provider approval and any required permissions are in place and verified. We would rather wait than take money before we can account for it properly.
If you would like to support the foundation in future, or have a question about giving, please write to us.
Contact us about givingPlease be careful
The foundation is not collecting money through any person, bank account, UPI ID or website. If anyone asks you for money in the foundation's name, please do not pay, and let us know.

Donation questions
Can I donate now?
Not online, and not through any other channel. The foundation is not accepting donations until its legal and banking arrangements are verified.
Will my donation be tax-deductible (80G)?
Not at present. The foundation does not hold 80G approval and does not claim any tax exemption. If that changes, the approval will be published on our transparency page and stated clearly here.
Can I donate from outside India?
No. Indian non-profits need registration or prior permission under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) to accept foreign contributions. The foundation does not have FCRA registration.
Is the foundation CSR-eligible?
Not at present. CSR eligibility requires specific registrations that the foundation does not yet have.
How will donations be used?
For the foundation's charitable work, as described on our focus area pages, with spending published by category on the transparency page. Administrative costs will be reported openly.
What about refunds?
When donations open, mistaken or duplicate donations will be refunded under our Refund and Cancellation Policy (draft).
Are there fees?
Payment providers charge a small processing fee on each transaction. When donations open, we will state the fee and how it is covered.
Can I give books, devices or time instead?
In-kind collections are not open yet either, but volunteering interest is welcome. See Volunteer or Partner with us.
