What we expect of volunteers, and what volunteers can expect from us.

Respect and dignity
- Treat everyone with respect, regardless of caste, religion, gender, age, disability, income or background.
- Never take or share photographs of community members without consent.
- Never use your role for personal, political or religious promotion.
Safeguarding
Follow the Child Safeguarding Policy at all times and report any concern immediately.
Honesty
- Do not make promises on behalf of the foundation.
- Do not accept gifts or money from people we serve.
- Do not collect donations on the foundation's behalf unless formally authorised in writing.
Confidentiality
Keep personal information you learn through your role private.
What volunteers can expect
- Clear information about the role
- Training and support
- A safe environment and a way to raise concerns
Breaches
Breaches of this code may lead to the end of a volunteer's involvement and, where relevant, a report to the authorities.
